Ayer hubo un cambio de planes: me llamaron para hacer el MRI en la tarde. Esta manana (8am) fuimos a Dublin para el PET-CT scan. Ya hemos terminado con las pruebas y solo queda esperar a que me llame el oncologo con los resultados. A ver si hay suerte.
Ayer fui a mi promera reunion de un grupo de ayuda para amigos y pacientes de cancer de pulmon. Lynnette ha ido varias veces y al final me decidi a ir. Esuvo muy bien, pero tambien es muy "emotivo"
Change of plans, The MRI center called yesterday and we run to get the MRI done. Tokay we did the PET-CT scan, so we are finished with exams. Now I am waiting for the oncologist to call with the results.
Yesterday was also my first visit to the Lung Cancer support group (caregivers and patients). Lynnette had already attended several sessions, and I thought it was time I did too. It was very good but quite emotional (I am not good at that).

En cuanto a lo del grupo, ya verás que resulta positivo. Y soltar emociones está muy bien. Tranquiliza el espíritu y te deja como nuevo.

ReplyDeleteWanted to share with you that my Dad is all clear. I cant tell you what a releif it was to get his call.
He is still having waves of nausea and feels tired a lot. The treatment is damn tuff to take. My heart goes out to you, reading your entries. Be strong.
